The school is prominently positioned on the southern edge of the Spinoza park, on the corner of the main road the Pascalweg and the ring road along the park.
The Majority of the Spinozapark lies on the westside of the Pascalweg, This formed the decision that the corner of the Open Venster, where it meets both roads, should have more mass and height.
The new corner helps the Building open towards the Spinozapark and invites people to enter. The Open Venster becomes more than just a school.

“A Window to the park”
Despite the design being just three layers it stays recognizable and makes for a clear presence on the border of the park.
